Judy,

I really did have a great time dancing with you! You're patient, nice, and a lot of fun! If anybody ever asks me about taking dance lessons I will be sure to refer them to you. This is somewhat of a testimonial that I put together. It's honest thoughts and feelings about the process.  . . .

 

After all was said and done, I must admit that I had fun taking dance lessons. We decided it might be a good idea to learn some moves before the wedding day when all eyes were upon us. I was worried about committing the time to lessons and practicing, but it worked out great!  The group lessons were fun and we decided to take some private lessons to get in a little more practice. We came with the songs picked out for our wedding and Judy worked her magic!

I'm a relatively shy person and was nervous about our "first dance" to begin with. We showed up at a lesson and Judy had choreographed a whole dance for us. To be honest, I wasn't thrilled about our first dance being so rehearsed. Scott wanted to practice more often than I did. I felt overwhelmed with the wedding planning as it was. I was nervous enough about being in the spotlight during the ceremony and the dance itself without people really watching. I hadn't realized our dance would be almost like a recital. I just wanted to get up there, have a little fun, and get off the dance floor as quick as possible. However, I found that when it came time for our dance I felt much more confident and had a lot more fun than I think I would have without having something planned. We may have messed up a couple steps, but we didn't miss a beat and to everyone else it looked like we "nailed it"!
